Malaysia Arrival Card
Start Your ApplicationClick Here
Malaysia is gradually introducing a new Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) system for travelers from countries that don't require a visa. At present, this applies to most visa-free nationalities, including those from ASEAN, and will expand further. Applications must be submitted online through the official government portal (imdac.imi.gov.my). Independent third-party services, like ours, can offer application support but are not affiliated with the Malaysian government.
Once approved, the MDAC is valid for one entry and must be submitted again before each trip.
Before your departure, always confirm whether your nationality needs the MDAC or a visa for entry into Malaysia.
Passport Requirements
Your passport must remain valid for the entire duration of your stay.
For most travelers, six months' validity on your passport is strongly recommended.
Ensure there’s at least one blank page for Malaysian entry and exit stamps.
Arrival Protocols & Entry Processes
Most travelers are no longer required to fill out health declaration forms.
However, the Immigration Department may conduct routine checks at entry.
Keep your return ticket and accommodation proof easily accessible.
Stay informed on travel advisories, especially if you're from high-risk regions.
Visa Requirements
- Citizens of ASEAN, EU, USA, Canada, Australia, and many others may visit visa-free for short stays.
- Travelers from other countries must apply for a visa through the official eVISA portal.
- If transiting, a transit visa may be needed depending on your nationality and airport.
- Be prepared to show proof of funds, return ticket, and accommodation on arrival.
